RICHMOND, Va. - Senior midfielder Lauren Rowe and sophomore midfielder Lara Taylor were selected to the Preseason All-CAA team, while graduate student goaltender Jonna Kennedy was tabbed honorable mention, the league announced today. The Huskies were ranked second in the preseason polls behind Delaware, while receiving a first-place vote. 

Lauren Rowe -  Senior, Midfield (Norwich, England)

• Led the team in goals (11), assists (10) and points (32), including four game-winning goals in 2021.  

• 3x All-CAA First Team (2019-2021) 

• CAA Rookie of the Year (2019) 

• Career 32 goals, 25 assists and 89 points.  

Lara Taylor - Sophomore, Midfield (Norwich, England)

• 2021 CAA All-Rookie Team 

• 2x CAA Rookie of the Week in 2021 

• Third on team with five goals in 2021 with a total of 11 points. 

Jonna Kennedy - Graduate Student, Goaltender (Watertown, Mass.)

• Graduate transfer from Boston College (2018-2022) 

• ACC Defensive Player of the Year (2021) 

• ACC Scholar Athlete of the Year (2021)  

• All-ACC First Team (2021) 

• Recorded 961:27 of play time in her senior season at BC with 1.81 goals allowed on average and a 0.674% save percentage with 60 saves. 

Northeastern starts the season in Albany, N.Y., on August 26 at 3 p.m., against Ohio State. The Huskies will open the home schedule on September 4 at 12 p.m., against Stonehill.
