Huskies Close Out Road Stand With Games At Towson, Boston University

BOSTON—The Northeastern field hockey team hits the road for the final two matchups of a six-game road stand, playing at Towson Friday, Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. on FloSports and at Boston University Sunday, Oct. 1 at 1 p.m., streaming on both NESN+ and ESPN+.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW
  1. COYLE, CALM AND COLLECTED: Senior forward Sarah Coyle picked up her CAA-leading seventh assist in Friday's contest with William & Mary on a goal scored by graduate student Lauren Rowe off a corner. She is tied for third in the NCAA in assists. The trio of Coyle, junior Maria Armaganian and Rowe have combined for three goals off corners this season.
  2. CATS AND DOGS: The Huskies fell in a close 4-3 loss to CAA opponent Towson at Dedham Field last season. Senior forward Mak Graves scored twice in the contest and sophomore Emilia Adragna had a goal in the final two minutes, but it wasn't enough. All-time, however, the Huskies are 21-4 against the Tigers.
  3. SPUEHLER AND STARR MEET AGAIN: Northeastern matches up with Boston University this weekend for the first time in Husky head coach Pam Spuehler's tenure. The Boston University graduate was one of the Terriers' best players from 2004-07 and looks to earn a win for Northeastern against her alma mater and former head coach Sally Starr.
Following the weekend's action, the Huskies return home to Dedham Field next Friday, Oct. 6, as they host Delaware at 3 p.m. for their Pride Game. That game will be streaming on NESN/NESN+ and FloSports.
