RICHMOND, Va.— Mak Graves,
Lauren Rowe and
Lara Taylor of the Northeastern Field Hockey team each earned 2024 Preseason All-CAA honors as announced by the league on Monday. Northeastern led the league with three selections to the Preseason All-CAA team.
A two-time All-CAA First Team honoree, Graves posted six goals and seven assists in 2023. The Topsfield, Massachusetts native's seven assists marked a career-high.
The reigning CAA Defender of the Year and All-CAA First Team honoree, Rowe scored nine goals, added eight assists and tallied 26 points to lead the Huskies in 2023. She finished second in the CAA in points per game with 1.63 and shots per game (4.06).
A Norwich, England native, Taylor was honored for the second year in a row on the All-CAA Second Team in 2023. Taylor scored three goals and had four assists in just 11 games las season.
The Huskies were picked to finish fourth in the preseason poll with 22 points. Northeastern opens its 2024 campaign at Boston College on Friday, Aug. 30 at 5 p.m.
