BOSTON — The Northeastern field hockey team (5-5) travels to Albany on Sunday to play the Great Danes at noon. The game will be available on AE.TV.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
- FIRST TIMERS — So far this season, eight Huskies have notched their first career goals. These players include Jessica Garden, Camille Armaganian, Lucy Walton, Julia Puccio, Helen Baldy, Laine Ambrose, Hannah Simon and Olivia Yelen.
- HOCKEY HISTORY — Northeastern faces Albany for only the sixth time. The Huskies hold a 4-1-0 edge in the all-time series against the Great Danes. Northeatsern and Albany are no strangers, as the team faced off earlier this season for an exhibition game.
- CAA CHECK-IN — After playing two CAA games, the Huskies sit in the middle of the pack with a win and a loss. Northeastern is tied with Drexel for second place in the overall standings with 53 points.
Following this game, the Huskies return to Dedham to face fellow conference opponent, Hofstra, on Friday Oct. 17. Northeastern will round out that weekend with a p.m. match at Quinnipiac on Sunday October, 19.
