BOSTON — The Northeastern field hockey team (5-6, 1-1 CAA) kicks off the upcoming weekend with a conference game versus Hofstra at home on Friday, Oct. 17. The game is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Dedham Field. The Huskies will get on the road for the following match up at Quinnipiac on Sunday, Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. The Hofstra match up will be streamed on FloSports.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
- STRONG ARM-AGANIAN: This past weekend, sophomore Camille Armaganian scored her third goal of the season. The goal came in exciting fashion as she scored off a penalty corner in the final second of the game. Her three goals are tied to lead the Huskies.
- SCOUTING REPORT: The Huskies face the Pride for 30th time. Northeastern holds the all-time series at 22-7-0. Last season, the Huskies won the match-up 3-1. As for the Bobcats, the Huskies also hold the all-time series with a 12-0-0 record. Quinnipiac will be holding their senior night on Sunday for the match.
- WE LOVE LOVERIDGE: The week one CAA Defensive Player of the Week has made 49 saves so far this season, Loveridge has a 0.727 save percentage. In all of Division I goalies, the New Zealand native is ranked 37th in save percentage.
The Huskies will resume CAA play next weekend as they host Drexel on Friday, Oct. 24 and then take on Boston Unviersity on Sunday, Oct. 26. The first contest will be streamed on FloSports and the match up with BU will be on NESN.
