Field Hockey Drops 2025 Schedule

DEDHAM, Mass. – The Northeastern field hockey program announced its 2025 season schedule that features 19 total matches, including ten home matches at Dedham Field.
 
Northeastern kicks off with two exhibition contests, starting at Dedham versus Albany on Aug. 18 at 2 p.m., before taking a trip to UConn on Aug. 23 (time TBD).
 
The season officially begins on home turf against Stonehill on Friday, Aug. 29 then turns back to the road for a contest at UMass Lowell the following Friday, Sept. 5.
 
Northeastern continues with a stretch of three home games against non-conference opponents Holy Cross (Sept. 7, 12 p.m.), New Hampshire (Sept. 12, 3 p.m.) and Ohio State (Sept. 14, 12 p.m.).
In the month's final weekends, the team will head to Maine on Sept. 19, return home against Harvard on Sept. 21 and once again travel for a game at Towson on Sept. 26.
 
The next five games for Northeastern will alternate between road match ups and home contests. As October opens, the away slate will consist of William & Mary (Oct. 3, 2 p.m.), Albany (Oct. 12, TBD) and Quinnipiac (Oct. 19, 1 p.m.). The Huskies will host Boston College (Oct. 5, 12 p.m.) and Hofstra (Oct. 17, 3 p.m.) during the stretch.
 
Northeastern will host for the final times on Friday, Oct. 24 against Drexel and on Sunday, Oct. 26 against Boston University for Senior Day. The Huskies will conclude the regular season with back-to-back road games against Monmouth on Oct. 31 and Maryland on Nov. 2.
 
Northeastern appeared in its sixth CAA tournament in the last seven years as the second seed in 2024, the first time the team has held that honor since 2011. The Huskies posted a 5-1-0 CAA record.
