Arabella Loveridge anchored the back line in her Northeastern debut, ultimately earning her the CAA Defensive Player of the Week award.
- Loveridge had two saves in the Huskies 2-0 win over Stonehill Friday afternoon.
- The Auckland, New Zealand, native earned the start in goal after a strong preseason and played all 60 minutes in the win.
- Loveridge joins the team this season as a transfer from Indiana University.
Next up, Loveridge and the Huskies will battle local opponent UMASS Lowell in the second game of the regular season, Friday, Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. at Wicked Blue Field in Lowell.
