The Northeastern volleyball team (1-4) finished off the LMU/Four Points Sheraton Classic on Saturday with a 3-0 (28-30, 27-30, 12-30) loss to Coastal Carolina (2-2) in Los Angeles, Calif.

CCU was led by Katherine Jensen's 14 kills, and hit .291 for the match. The Huskies hit just .065 for the match and were led by senior Brandie Genibrel's 10 kills.

NU also received eight kills from Ashley Reeves, seven from sophomore Kira Batura and six from senior Larissa Adomat. For the tournament, Adomat led the Huskies with 24 kills.

Freshman Sarah Stein and junior Ivana Pavlisin once again split the duties at setter, with Stein totaling 14 assists and Pavlisin 19. Batura led the Huskies with 10 digs in the match.

The Huskies are back in action on Friday night, when they will play host to their first Colonial Athletic Association match. NU will face off with James Madison at 7 p.m. and will then play host to George Mason at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Both games will be played at Solomon Court.
