The Huskies won their fourth consecutive match on Friday night, a hard fought 3-0 (30-24, 30-28, 30-27) sweep of James Madison at Solomon Court. Lauren DeTurk led the way with 12 kills, while Jessica Tkachuk had 20 assists. Northeastern's record improves to 11-10 on the season, and 3-1 in the CAA. The Huskies return to action Sunday against George Mason at 1 p.m. The game will be played at Solomon Court.

Northeastern hit .256 in taking game one, as DeTurk had seven kills. With the game tied at 23, a kill by Britney Brown started a 6-1 Huskies run that gave Northeastern the game.

In game two, Northeastern led 28-27, but a kill by Britney Brown made the score 29-27. Following a James Madison kill, a service error by the Dukes' Lindsay Callahan gave Northeastern game two.

In game three, Northeastern led 15-11, but a 9-4 run by the Dukes gave the visitors a 20-19 lead. From there, Northeastern surged ahead, taking a 29-26 lead, and winning the match on a Sarah Stein kill.

Kira Batura paced the Husky defense with 18 digs, while also contributing 6 kills. Caitlin Tittl and Anna Broscheit each had five kills.
