BOSTON -- The No. 18 Northeastern Huskies will look to get back to their winning ways with a pair of CAA rivals next on the schedule. On Friday, the Huskies will hit the road for the final time this season to take on Delaware at 7 p.m. Then, two days later, the Huskies play the first game of three straight at home against Towson. That game is set to begin at 1 p.m.

All-time vs. Delaware
Over their respective histories, these two teams have become very familiar with one another since first meeting in 1992. Both were members of the North Atlantic Conference and the American East. Both also joined the CAA in the last decade to continue the rivalry. Since joining the CAA in the 2005 season, the Huskies are 7-3, including postseason action, against the Blue Hens. Northeastern's all-time record against Delaware is 17-7. Despite playing in the same conference, however, they have only met in the CAA postseason tournament once over the last 10 seasons, with the Blue Hens earning a 5-1 victory in the CAA championship game in the 2013 season.

Last time out

The Huskies' 11-game winning streak came to an end when they fell to the Black Bears of Maine, 2-1, in an overtime thriller at Dedham Field. The Huskies lone goal came off the stick of Emma Lamsion, while Becky Garner made three saves in the setback. Kelly Dunn paced the Huskies in shots with three, all of which were on goal. NU took the lead early in the first half when Lamsion scored on a breakaway. Strong defense kept the Black Bears at bay, but Maine broke through early in the second half to tie the game. In overtime, Maine was awarded a penalty shot and Black Bear Annabelle Hamilton was able to convert it for the win.

All-time vs. Towson

The Huskies have enjoyed success against the Towson Tigers in their history, going 14-3 against their conference foe. The first time these two teams met on the pitch came in the 1995 season when both teams were members of the North Atlantic conference. The Huskies have never lost to Towson at home. Their .823 winning percentage against the Tigers is second best against any opponent in program history.

On the horizon
Following their showdowns against Delaware and Towson, the Huskies welcome James Madison and William and Mary to Dedham Field. The Dukes come to town on Halloween night, Friday, Oct. 31 at 5 p.m. Two days later the NU and Tribe will meet on the pitch at 1 p.m. to close out the regular season.

STUDENTS: Buses will be available for fans looking to attend Sunday's game. They will depart from Chicken Lou's at 11:45 and 12:15. Following the game, buses will bring students back to campus.
