BOSTON – Yet another ranked opponent will grace Dedham Field on Sunday afternoon when No. 16 Wake Forest comes to town to face the Northeastern field hockey team at 1 p.m.

The Demon Deacons mark the third ranked team to face the Huskies at Dedham Field this season and the fourth Northeastern has faced against in 2016.

The two teams will meet for just the second time in program history and the first time during the regular season.

• Northeastern split the weekend series last weekend, picking up their first conference victory over Hofstra on Friday and falling to UMass Sunday
• After jumping out to a 2-0 lead over Hofstra on Friday, the Pride fought back to tie the game at two-all. In the second half, Northeastern broke the tie and went on to a 4-2 win
• On Sunday, the Minutewomen were the ones to gain a two-goal lead, which the Huskies cut into via two

• Northeastern and Wake Forest have met just one time in the past, a second round NCAA Tournament appearance at Harvard in 2004

Jamie Bartucca is having a breakout season on the pitch for Northeastern
• For the second time this season, the junior has earned CAA Player of the Week honors, the first time a Husky player has been named POW twice in the same season since Crystal Poland in 2012
• The junior, who tallied her first career goal in the season opener at UC Davis, has since gone on to score a team-leading nine goals this season
•After recording three goals against Maine (2) and UNH, Bartucca netted her first career CAA POW honors
• The second honor came after three goals at Hofstra and UMass (2) last week
• The Farmington, Conn. native leads the team in points (19) and goals (9), the most goals since All-American Emma Lamison recorded four in 2014
• Bartucca has hit the back of the cage (9) on half of her shots on goal (18) this season

Cheryl Murtagh is in her 29th season at the helm of the Huskies and is two wins shy of 400 in her tenured career
