Â
Kellie Stigas made it a 5-0 game at the half for the Huskies, adding to the score with 30 seconds left in the half after ripping a shot stopped beautifully by Stewart off of Northeastern's ninth penalty corner of the half. Dewamme added yet another assist on the play while Stewart tallied her third assist of the game.
Â
After the half, Towson notched its lone goal of the game on its first shot on goal of the game as Jenna Johnson snuck a shot past Garner to get the Tigers on the board, but the Huskies regained the five-goal advantage shortly after as Stewart recorded her first goal of the game off the Huskies 12
th penalty corner attempt on the day aided by MacLachlan, to push the Huskies' lead to 6-1.
Â
MacLachlan added another goal to the board with just five minutes left in the game when she tacked on her second goal of the game via a penalty corner helped by Stewart and Dewamme who recorded their fourth and third assists of the game respectively.
