BOSTON – The Northeastern field hockey team was honored for their efforts off the field in the Fall of 2015 by ZAG field hockey and the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Tuesday.
 
Ten different Northeastern field hockey players earned a 3.30 or higher while the squad complied a team GPA of at least 3.0 during competition in the fall semester.
 
Freshman Rachel Campbell, junior Alyssa Carlson, redshirt senior Kate Carlson, freshman June Curry-Lindahl, freshman Kaylie DeCosmo, junior Becky Garner, senior Zoe Kale, freshman Jennifer Parent, junior Natalie Stewart and redshirt freshman Kellie Stigas all notched a 3.30 or greater while competing last fall.
 
The 10 players honored are the most since 10 players were honored following the 2011 season while Garner, Kale and Stigas are all earning the distinction for the second time in their Northeastern careers.
 
In total, 63 different field hockey teams were honored for their strong academic standing.
