SCOUTING THE RAMS
Fordham enters the tournament 4-3 after co-hosting the Terrier/Rose Hill Classic last weekend. The Rams pushed both St. Francis Brooklyn and NJIT to five sets before dropping the match but bounced back and defeated Quinnipiac 3-0 in the final game of the tournament. Prior to the season, the Rams were picked to finish ninth in the A-10. Freshmen Olivia Fairchild leads Fordham's offense having racked up 116 kills already this season. The rookie is averaging 4.00 kills per set, which places her 58th in the nation after only seven games of her career. Sophomore Maddy Walsh has tallied 292 assists on the season aided by Morgan Williams who is putting up 4.21 digs per set. The programs last met in September 2014 at Fordham where the Huskies downed the Rams in three sets. The Huskies are 2-1 all-time against the Rams.

SCOUTING THE BLUE HOSE
Presbyterian looks to snap a five game losing streak this weekend in Boston. The Blue Hose have been on the road for all seven games of the season and will make it ten after this weekend's competition. Sophomore Sierra Davis leads the Presbyterian offense with 2.83 kills per set and a .241 hitting percentage. Ashton Stewart is currently leading the pack with 13 blocks and has totaled 33 kills. This weekend's match up will be the first meeting of the two programs.

SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Binghamton is 1-5 on the season after competing in tournaments in Charleston, S.C. and Jamaica, N.Y. In game three of the season, Binghamton faced familiar CAA foe Charleston and fell in three sets. Last weekend, at the St. John's Classic, the Bearcats swept Niagara for their first win of the season. Junior Sarah Ngo has tallied 171 assists so far this season and is ranked 134th in the country with 9.00 assists per set. Bailey Walker reinforces the defense with 4.89 digs per set, good for 51st in the national rankings. The Huskies and Bearcats have not faced each other since 2004 when Northeastern swept the match. Northeastern leads the all-time series 6-0.

MICK DIGGER
Sophomore Gabrielle Eyl is set to have an impressive season serving as Northeastern's primary libero. Up to this point, she has amassed 135 digs, which averages to 5.00 per set. This achievement puts her second in the CAA to JMU's Taylor Austin with 5.90. Nationally, she is ranked 40th overall and 11th among sophomores. The top mark in digs per set is currently 6.16.

WHITE HOT
Freshman Shaina White has made a significant impact in her first two weeks of collegiate competition. The rookie has started all seven matches for the Huskies and has racked up 46 kills on the season. After posting a .667 and .611 hitting percentage in back-to-back matches in Florida, White notched a .476 hitting percentage against California. These marks help give her an overall .374 hitting percentage which ranks 84th in the nation and 11th among freshmen. White has also put up 14 blocks, placing her third on the team behind Carmen Costa and Caterina Rosander who are tied for the lead with 15 blocks. Sophomore Laynie Whitehead has also shown to be a scoring threat. Whitehead recorded .412 and .333 hitting percentages in the final two games of the Florida Atlantic Invite and has totaled 38 kills for the season so far.
