Box Score BOSTON – The Huskies came back on Saturday to defeat Boston College in a thrilling 3-2 victory.
Gabrielle Eyl,
Gabrielle Tschannen and
Amy Underdown all broke career-highs in the match.
After holding off Boston College's set point in the fourth set, the Huskies forced a fifth set with an ace from Underdown and a kill from
Brigitte Burcescu. Northeastern went on a 4-1 run in the fifth set to secure the match win.
Underdown continued her stellar play for the Red and Black, recording her fifth double-double of the season. The sophomore posted 20 kills, breaking her career-high of 18, and 21 digs.
Tschannen finished the night with 11 kills, breaking her career-high of nine. Eyl had a great night from the back row with 35 digs, a new career high for the junior.
Samantha Shupe and
Kristen Walding combined for 56 assists. The Huskies racked up eight aces in the match: Shupe, Tschannen, Ardila, Underdown and Walding.
Saturday's attendance of 730 is the second most in program history.

- Burcescu tied the set up for the Huskies with a kill, 16-16
- Northeastern went on a 3-0 run to tie the set up at 24-24
- A kill from Boston College's Cat Balido secured the second set win for the Eagles
