Box Score BOSTON –  The Huskies came back on Saturday to defeat Boston College in a thrilling 3-2 victory. Gabrielle Eyl, Gabrielle Tschannen and Amy Underdown all broke career-highs in the match.
 
After holding off Boston College's set point in the fourth set, the Huskies forced a fifth set with an ace from Underdown and a kill from Brigitte Burcescu. Northeastern went on a 4-1 run in the fifth set to secure the match win.
 
Underdown continued her stellar play for the Red and Black, recording her fifth double-double of the season. The sophomore posted 20 kills, breaking her career-high of 18, and 21 digs.
 
Tschannen finished the night with 11 kills, breaking her career-high of nine. Eyl had a great night from the back row with 35 digs, a new career high for the junior.
                                                                                                                   
Samantha Shupe and Kristen Walding combined for 56 assists. The Huskies racked up eight aces in the match: Shupe, Tschannen, Ardila, Underdown and Walding.  
 
Saturday's attendance of 730 is the second most in program history.

Set One Recap:

• 25-20, Boston College
• An ace from Tschannen tied the set up at 6-6
• A kill by Boston College's Lynn Braakhuis gave the Eagles a 17-15 lead
• Shollin's kill gave the Huskies a 19-18 lead

• Boston College went ona 6-0 run to take a 14-6 lead
• Burcescu tied the set up for the Huskies with a kill, 16-16
• Northeastern went on a 3-0 run to tie the set up at 24-24
• A kill from Boston College's Cat Balido secured the second set win for the Eagles

 
Set Three Recap:

• 25-21, Northeastern
• Kills for Ardila and Walding tied the set up at 11-11
• A Burcescu kill and a Boston College attack error gave Northeastern a 21-18 lead
• The Huskies got the set win with kill from Underdown

 
Set Four Recap:

• 26-24, Northeastern
• Tschannen's kill put Northeastern ahead 6-3
• Boston College's Lynn Braakhuis tied the set up at 11-11 with a kill
• The Huskies took a 22-19 lead with a kill from Underdown
• The Huskies force a fifth set with a kill from Burcescu to get the fourth set win

• Bucescu's kill tied the set at 3-3
• Northeastern took a 10-7 lead with a kill from Ardila
• The Huskies went on a 5-2 run to secure the match win
