Box Score NEWARK, Del. – The Huskies defeated Delaware in three straight sets on Friday night. With this win, Northeastern moves to 10-6 on the season and 3-0 in Colonial Athletic Association play.
Amy Underdown had a solid match all-around for the Red and Black. The sophomore led the match with 13 kills, six digs and four aces. Freshman
Athena Ardila posted 10 kills and two blocks, while
Gabrielle Tschannen recorded six kills and three blocks.
Brigitte Burcescu posted eight kills, three digs and one block. From the back row,
Gabrielle Eyl racked up 15 digs.
Samantha Shupe and
Kristen Walding combined for 32 assists on the night.
As a team, the Huskies recorded nine aces in the match.
