• The two teams have met each season for the last four seasons, with the Huskies winning each of those meetings
• With Madl at the helm of Providence over the last 16 seasons, and Murtagh leading the Huskies for the last 30, the two coaches have gone head-to-head 11 times in the past with Murtagh holding a 8-3 advantage, including wins in the last five meetings between the two teams with Providence's last win over NU coming in the 2010 season
• Last season, it took two overtimes for a decision, but the Huskies earned a 1-0 win thanks to a June Curry-Lindahl goal in the 87th minute of play

CALIFORNIA
• Cal and Northeastern have met six times in the past with the last meeting coming last season in Berkeley, a 3-2 overtime victory for the Huskies.
• Natalie Stewart knocked in a penalty corner attempt dished in from Alyssa Carlson 10 minutes and 36 seconds into overtime to give the Huskies the win, the fifth ever over Cal
• Northeastern's lone loss came in the 2010 season, a 4-2 setback at Cal
• The two teams met for the first time in the 1986 season, a 3-1 win for the Huskies in Boston.
•This game will be Cal's third at Northeastern, the first at Dedham field and their first trip to Massachusetts to face the Huskies since the 2002 season, a 6-0 victory for the Huskies
