BOSTON – The Huskies took down William & Mary on Thursday in straight sets to move to 5-0 in conference play and 12-6 overall. With this victory, Northeastern extends its win streak to seven games.
Amy Underdown led the match with 10 kills, while also posting four digs and one ace.
Brigitte Burcescu was not far behind her with nine kills, three digs and one block.
Gabrielle Tschannen tallied eight kills, three blocks and two aces.
Taylor Reiter and
Athena Ardila posted five kills and four kills, respectively.
Gabrielle Eyl and
Clare Lund were both solid from the back row all match, with 17 digs and 14 digs, respectively.
Samantha Shupe and
Kristen Walding combined for 29 assists.
As a team, Northeastern tallied eight aces from seven different Huskies.

- A kill from Taylor Reiter gave the Huskies the first set win

- With kills from Reiter, Tschannen and Underdown, Northeastern jumped out to a 8-4 lead
- A kill from Underdown put the Huskies ahead 21-14, their biggest lead of the set
- Burcescu's kill secured the second set win for Northeastern

- 25-15, Northeastern
- An Eyl ace gave the Huskies a 6-2 lead
- Northeastern went on a 8-1 run to take a 12-3 lead over William & Mary
- The Huskies 3-0 run capped with Ardila's ace secured the set and match win for Northeastern
