Arthur J. Chisholm, a two-time All America in ice hockey, was elected to the Hall of Fame for his outstanding accomplishments in that sport.

An electrifying goal-scorer, Chisholm received All America honors in 1960 and 1961. In his three years of competition at Northeastern, he was elected to the All New England and All East teams of 1959, '60 and '61. At Northeastern he was the recipient of the Class of 1939 Trophy as the Most Valuable Player in all three seasons. As a junior in 1960 when he captained the team for the first of two successive seasons, he received the Walter J. Brown Award for the Most Outstanding American College Hockey Player in New England. His goal scoring records still stand. He holds the record for most goals in a season, 40 in 1958-59, most goals in a career, 100, and most points as a sophomore, 65. His three-year point total of 182 is fourth in Northeastern hockey history.

A graduate of the Class of 1962, he played for the Boston Bruins in 1961 and later the New England Amateur League where he was voted Most Valuable Player in 1967 and 1968. He also became a member of the National Collegiate Ice Hockey Officials. At Arlington High School, in Arlington, Mass., Chisholm was an equally impressive star gaining All League, All City and All State honors.
