Dean C. Webb has been elected to the Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in the sports of ice hockey, football and golf.

From 1960-64, Webb earned three letters each in football and golf and two in hockey. Webb was a primary factor on Northeastern's famed 1963 undefeated, untied football team, as he keyed the defense from his secondary position, while leading the Huskies of coach Joe Zabilski in punt and kickoff return average. Webb's interceptions and brilliant runbacks for touchdowns helped Northeastern roll back eight regular season opponents to earn a post-season bowl bid. An All New England selection twice as a hard-hitting fleet defenseman for coach Jim Bell, Webb was an indispensable player on the hockey team.

Picking up where he left off in his youth days at Natick Country Club, Webb was a frequent winner on the collegiate golf tour in New England and captained the Husky linksmen for three years. Webb was something of a local legend in his day, ever since he fired a nine hole total of 31 as a 13-year old at Natick C.C. The former New England Collegiate Tourney medalist, Webb holds innumerable golf titles at the amateur level and has been a teaching professional at Mt. Washington Hotel in New Hampshire and Marco Island, Florida during the winter months.
